This is/was the land in question. I’m the child of this property. I watched my family break their backs until they could no longer manage it. But when we sold, there were stipulations. I’m not saying who ignored them in his zeal to make money on the land. Its ripped the family apart enough. But I think someone should see what this was. How the image of it was skewed. If I weren’t fighting cancer perhaps I could have been there. But I’ve lived on land like that long enough to know, when the developers come? The bulldozer will find you.

For some this might sound extreme but the analogy needs to be extreme, there were a lot of Germans that idolized Hitler, the point being is that you can always find “someone” to agree with one side or the other, where it becomes significant is in the pro or con numbers. So one letter favoring the Mitchster doesn’t mean a whole lot, as one can find many many more that don’t approve of his performance.

Why don’t these poverty pimps go away? And why hasn’t Nelson Johnson ever apologized for his role in the Nov 3rd shootout. He has spent his whole life doing nothing but trying to lay blame on others for Nov. 3rd 79. Go away, until you are ready to apologize to a city, who you seem intent on tearing down, and families who you played a direct role in their loved ones losing their lives. Shut up already!

The previous city council frequently met in small groups of two or three members to talk about various issues. By conducting meetings in this manor the groups were not required to invite the public to the meetings and in most cases they did not.

“Several council members — T. Dianne Bellamy-Small, Mayor Yvonne Johnson, Robbie Perkins and Goldie Wells — voted last week to return to the small-group model. Perkins said it was helpful to hear from department heads and receive more detailed information about how the city is being run.The vote failed.

The council members who opposed returning to small groups: Trudy Wade, Mike Barber, Sandra Anderson Groat, Zack Matheny and Mary Rakestraw.” (News & Record)

And obvious lame attempt to exclude certain council members, especially two of the new ones, from meetings in an effort to keep certain members uninformed. This is very serious especially since one of them leading the charge is the Mayor herself! The heat is on and some of the old council are attempting to start a clique. You would think that one of the requirements to sit on the city council is to have an IQ larger than thier hat size! Is this the Mayors definition of being transparent!

But this is not about truth, it’s about diversion and keeping the masses intimidated. Wasn’t Nelson Johnson in 1979 a head member of the communist party, aka communism! Now as I believe “ism” in communism means “socialism” and a theory of a way of life, and is in lieu of religion as communism represents a religion unto itself within the state! “Now” I’m supposed to believe that Nelson Johnson has repented and is now a man of the cloth, I think I’d like to see some certification or diplomas! There’s an over abundance of those running around Greensboro claiming to be clergy where they can barely write thier name(s) much less read scriptures! In reality I believe this is a ploy to seek local or state funding for obvious reasons.

If there was anything of value in those boxes it would bury the likes of Jim Melvin and the GPD officers involved that day and there is no way ANY officer could go public without the approval of GPD and the City Manager’s office being involved.

So apparently someone is trying to put up yet another smoke screen and blame it on Wray.

And finally, who’s to say these 50 boxes haven’t already been copied and placed in databases and FBI files somewhere? Could there really be 50 boxes of unknown evidence never before seen by the FBI? Somehow I doubt it.

And yes, how long are documents kept after a case is closed?

I agree 100 % the citizens need to take back their city. One of the best ways to do so is to call all your state representatives and make Greensboro have a Protest Petition back after 37 years of being exempted. Consider the fact that Johnson was asking for something he felt was sinister.
Wray would not have considered a routine photo line up book sinister.
Sort of like Johnson’s “Oh that memo!”
Nothing that I have seen has indicated Wray would have intentionally lied about that book.
Also consider, why did Johnson present the incomplete book to the council? A book of photos with no explanation when the explanation was in his possession?
That’s called trying to CYA. And not a very good attempt at it.
